This week has been a great week. The weather has been
gorgeous! Wednesday was beautiful outside and I was stuck inside all day in
classes. With that being said, I am not looking forward to the cold and rain
tomorrow (Saturday). I am looking forward to the super bowl on Sunday. If you
have not seen the new puppy Budweiser commercial you have watch it! Puppy commercial I only
had one class on Monday, which kind of threw me off since I am still not used
to my new schedule. I went from having Tuesday and Thursday class to Monday and
Wednesday class.
I am trying to get ahead in this class, especially since I
get my wisdom teeth out next week. I am not looking forward to having a swollen
mouth. I am still working on this week’s project of brainstorming styles for
our storybook. I did however, figure out my topic. This week I really enjoyed
the unit I read. I chose to read Aesop fables. They were easy to follow along
and read. The theme/lessons of each story were very practical and could be used
in everyday life. I hope I can read more units like this one as the semester
goes on.
I am still overly impressed with how well my classmates are
at storytelling. I cannot wait to see what everyone chose for their storybooks.
I have a feeling that everyone is going be so creative. I have noticed that people are even improving.
Maybe the comments from other students are really helpful I also have enjoyed
how people have changed the color and font of their blog. This makes it more
unique. I have, myself, changed the color of my own blog. I need to change the
font as well.
Kind of a random thought, but I finally watched the movie
The Fault in our Stars. I highly recommend it. Yes, it is sad but it has a
great story-line. I enjoyed watching it and would watch it again.
Mary, I just happened to notice this post and I wanted to wish you an easy time with the wisdom teeth! I will find out in March if I have to get mine out, which is kind of weird, I know, since I am over 50... but they are driving my poor dentist crazy because they are hard to work on, and they all have fillings that need replacing. I sure hope she won't tell me to go have them out, but that might be happening to me during Spring Break.... eeek! Not my idea of a fun Spring Break, ha ha. Anyway, if you can get ahead, that's super, but you can always do extra credit stuff later in the semester too, so don't stress about it. And let's hope that the Tooth Fairy will be good to you! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou get your wisdom teeth out next week - Good Luck! Haha. I had a pretty interesting experience, and was loopy all day long. Everyone that came to visit me got extra hugs and kisses because for some weird reason I was super into loving on my visitors. From friends to family to my boyfriend, you name it. Anyway, hope everything goes well and you recover really quickly!
ReplyDeleteI loved the nice weather, but just cannot handle the weather changes. One day it's 80 degrees outside, the next the high is 54! It's giving my allergies so much grief. Also, that commercial is so adorable.
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting your wisdom teeth out next week! I have my top two wisdom teeth coming in right now which means once they're in all the way I will have to get them removed. My mouth is too small for the normal amount of teeth, i've already had 4 other adult molars removed to accommodate my teeth as they finished straightening out from my braces. Anyway, i'm really dreading it. I just don't handle mouth pain well.
